This year’s AGM was once again held in the Coffee Lounge at St James Church Centre, starting at 7.30 pm on Monday, March 23rd. The Chair, Cindy Bentley, welcomed members to the meeting and gave a brief description of events held during January to December 2025. This was followed by an update on the financial affairs of the Association. Elections followed: Doug Masterton was re-elected for a further 12 months as Honorary President, Cindy Bentley as Chair and Trevor Grant as Treasurer. Unfortunately, there were no nominations to replace the late Kazia Knight as Secretary. Norma Harrington and Dawn Payne were elected as Committee Members and the Town Mayor, Connor Mulhall is a permanent ex officio member. Following the conclusion of the AGM, members joined in a delicious Bring and Share supper. There was considerable discussion about the visit of our friends from Privas and also about the future of the Association.
