We used to have a regular annual Quiz Night pre-Covid, but, as with a lot of events, it didn’t happen again until this year. We also used to have a pie and peas supper, but decided to have a change and ordered fish and chips from the Frying Pan, our local chippie. These were delivered bang on time and freshly cooked.
There were six teams participating in the Quiz and questions ranged from current affairs to identifying celebrity photos. The winning team, Margaret’s Minions, won 3 bottles of wine, although they already had won a couple in the raffle.
Our Quiz Mistress, Barbara, did a wonderful job designing the rounds and sourcing questions and pictures. All in all, the event was a great success, both socially and financially. We are very grateful to everyone who bought tickets to support the event and to all those who helped set up and clear away afterwards.
